Teresa O. Prescott is a seasoned family law attorney who offers action-driven family law services to clients. Ms. Prescott focuses on high-conflict divorce, cohabitation, and custody disputes, specializing in parental alienation, pathogenic parenting syndrome and borderline/narcissistic personality disorders.  Mrs. Prescott is certified in micro-facial expressions and known as a strategist and skilled litigator.

Prescott, a Cuban-American, attended Stetson University College of Law where she graduated with honors and was recognized as a top Oralist. As a student, Mrs. Prescott was one of four students selected to complete a Fellowship in Higher Education Law and Policy. She dedicated her Fellowship to studying federal and state policy, with a specific focus on Title IX and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Teresa maintains her close connections with Stetson Law and served as an adjunct professor in a skills course.

A member of The Federalist Society, Mrs. Prescott is also active in other professional organizations, including The Florida Bar​’s Family Law and Appellate Practice Sections; the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division; and the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Marital & Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division.

With a strong belief in service being a crucial component of community development, Mrs. Prescott has been individually recognized by Chief Justice Charles. T. Canady and the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit for her commitment to the Tampa Bay area.

Mrs. Prescott has also published several articles in HuffPost about family law and was rated among the 10 Best Family Law Attorneys in 2019 and the Top 100 Women to Know in Tampa in 2018. She has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star each year since 2020.
