DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Domestic violence falls under civil harassment. Domestic violence is eruptive compared to civil harassment. Civil harassment consists of threats, harm or consistent bothering of one person. This can be male to female and vice versa.   Domestic violence is related to civil harassment but takes it to a malicious level, where one person could go to a length as to impair another, usually causing flagrant distress to the one experiencing the domestic violence. The factors of each case of domestic violence determine if it is punishable by the court of law.   Domestic violence can cause visitation restraint to the acting abuser from the receiving one. It starts out as a crime against one but it tends to branch out into the community.
